These are the terms for using Here When You Are. Using a board means accepting them. They are short on purpose.
Getting on a board
Every board is private to one family. You join one by spending an invite code issued by whoever runs it, or by signing in and asking for a board of your own, which one person reads and approves by hand — there is no open sign-up. Whoever holds a board decides who joins it and can ask for an account on it to be removed.
You need to be an adult to accept these terms and to run a board. Children use a board under the care of the adult who runs it; that adult is responsible for what goes on it and for what their household puts there.
Using it reasonably
Do not share an invite code with anyone you would not hand your family's calendar to. Do not try to reach another household's board, break the service for other people, or use it to store things that are unlawful. Keep your own sign-in to yourself; anyone with it has the whole board.
What the board is and is not
It is a place to organise a household. It is not a medical, clinical, educational or therapeutic tool, and nothing in it is advice of any kind. Reminders, timers and notifications are conveniences, not guarantees — never rely on it for anything where missing a prompt would actually matter.
Your household's data is yours
What a household puts on its board belongs to that household. We claim no ownership of it and no right to use it beyond running the service. It can be exported in full from Settings at any time, and deleted on request — see the privacy page for how.
No promises we cannot keep
The service is provided as it is, without warranty. It is run by one person, not a company with an operations team: it may be unavailable, it may lose data, and it may change or stop altogether. Keep your own exports if the contents matter to you — that is the honest advice and the reason the export button exists.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from using the service. If the service is ever to be discontinued, the households on it will be told with enough notice to take their data with them.
Changes and contact
These terms may change; the date at the foot of the page moves when they do, and material changes are told to the households on the board directly. Questions go to aitesting123lab@gmail.com. These terms are governed by the law of British Columbia, Canada.
