Why we made it

Getting kids to practice writing used to feel like pulling teeth. We tried prompts, journals, reward charts—you name it. But writing about “what you did on the weekend” got boring fast. For all of us, honestly.

Then we tried turning their words into playable games with AI, and everything changed. Suddenly, their descriptions actually mattered. The first try is never quite right, though. A hero tries to jump over a wall, but the wall is made of jelly and they sink. The magic boots make them run sideways.

So they go back and tweak their words, a little clearer each time, until the game does what they envisioned. And somewhere in that process, a light bulb goes off: “Oh, I need to say how tall the wall is!” or “I forgot to set the timer!” They’re not just typing; they're learning to express their ideas clearly, one fix at a time.

Now nobody has to nag them to write. They finally see why clear communication matters, and it’s the part of the day they look forward to most.
